There are 14 new paintings in my show at Res Ipsa Gallery – to see them click here.  The gallery slide show has sizes and titles at the bottom of their screen and you can see which paintings are already sold.  This show is getting a lot of press.  It was mentioned in the Chronicle Pink Section article about Art Murmur Oakland,  in the Huffington Post interview I did a few days ago with John Seed,  and more press is coming in the May ArtLtd and Oakland Magazine.  The Chronicle is also running another piece on the show next week.  I’ll be at the gallery Saturday May 12, 1:30, for an artist talk.  You can request a new catalog from either me or the gallery.  We also have free passes for the May 17-20 SF Art Fair at Ft. I’ll be in Oakland on May 4 for the opening of my new exhibit, Are You Going with Me?,  at RES IPSA Gallery and then back again for the artist talk on May 12. "Truro (Bands)," 2009 Collection Provincetown Art Association

Thanks to my agent, Jennifer Long, at FILMART LA, you can see seven of my paintings from Cape Cod, Italy, France and Denmark in Steve Carell’s latest Warner Bros. film, Crazy Stupid Love.  The painting in the photo above, “Truro (Bands),” 2009, is in the collection of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. Other paintings have appeared in The Holiday (2006) and It’s Complicated (2009).

The new show, Color, Water and Shade, opens at Munson Gallery in Chatham Friday August 5.  I will be there for the reception from 5:30-7:00.  All of the paintings are now at the gallery so you can ask to see them if you are on the Cape.

Small Abstract Paintings at Solo Ciccia in Panzano in Chianti

You can see some of my smaller abstract work if you are in Chianti in the next few months.  A group of my abstract paintings is now at Dario Cecchini’s Solo Ciccia – my favorite restaurant in Toscana.  Slow food and slow paintings are a good match.
